Al Zain Flagship: Delivering a Luxury Middle Eastern Retail Space

Al Zain is a heritage jewelry house with a strong presence across the Gulf. For its flagship location, the brand required a space that honored its tradition while feeling contemporary and international. MASCUSTOM was engaged to design, manufacture, and install the complete display environment.

The brief

The client wanted a generous, gallery-like floor plan that could host high-value bridal and high-jewelry pieces alongside a growing watch collection. Key requirements included:

  • Large-format display cases with uninterrupted sightlines
  • Warm, gold-toned metalwork consistent with the brand identity
  • Integrated, dimmable lighting tuned for diamonds and colored stones
  • Robust security that remains visually discreet
  • Climate-appropriate materials for a high-footfall flagship

Our solution

We designed a perimeter system of floor-to-ceiling vitrines in brushed brass and low-iron glass, paired with central pedestal cases for hero pieces. Stone-clad feature walls anchored the bridal zone, while a private consultation room offered a quieter, more intimate setting for significant purchases.

Every case was factory-built, pre-wired, and test-assembled before shipping, reducing on-site installation time and ensuring a consistent finish across all units.

The result

The store opened on schedule and has since become one of the brand's highest-performing locations. The modular case design has also allowed the merchandising team to reconfigure layouts for seasonal collections without altering the fixed infrastructure.
